    Hi,

I recentaly installed ISP Config on my Ununtu server, I have been following the tutorial The Perfect Setup - Ubuntu Feisty Fawn (Ubuntu 7.04).

I have set up a site with ISP Config with a domain "example.com" and the hostname "server1".

When I go to the address:http://server1.example.com on the server in question it comes up with the website I have in the /var/www/server1.example.com/web file, which is good, but when I try it on a computer other then the server in question it comes up with a screen saying that the website cannot be found,

    What should I do?

    Thanks James

    Hi falko,

When creating th DNS A-record should I put the external address of my router?
When I use a computer inside my network and enter the address:192.168.1.1:81/
    ISPConfig appears correctly.

    Thanks,
    James

If you'd like to access the site from outside your network, then yes (make sure your router forwards port 80 and 81 to your server), otherwise you can use the local IP address.
