    Hi there,

I'm also running ISPconfig 3.0.14 beta on Ubuntu Jaunty and still having the Duplicate A Record error.

Tested it in the current svn version and there is no such error. Most likely you really added a duplivcate record and thats why you get this error message. You can not add two a-records where ip address and hoatsname is identical. Either the ip address or the hostname must be different.

    Hi Till,

When I add an A-record like this:

    Hostname IP Address

    mail 10.10.10.10

And I add another one like:

    Hostname IP Address

    www 10.10.10.10

Then I get the error message.

This has been fixed in svn some time ago and will be released with 3.0.1.4 beta 2.

You are absolutely right Till !!
I never did a SVN update before. No I did and the problem is fixed, however....

I have two ISPconfig servers, same build, and on the first one everything went smoothly but the second one won't upgrade/update.

After it asks for the MYSQL Root password, the installer stops and I have the prompt again.

    Last line from the ispconfig_install.log:

    /tmp/trunk/install/update.php, Line 133: read in ispconfig3.sql

    Any ideas??

Thanks for your help so far!!!!

    Regards
    Naudski

Maybe there is a problem with the mysql root password. Please make sure that the mysql root password does not contain any special chars that might be interpreted by the shell.

Also be aware that the svn contains developemnt versions which should not be used on production systems.
