Did anyone managed to build a LDAP module/plugin/addon yet ?
I would like to integrate our existing LDAP tree within ispconfig mostly for emails. So I can have a complete SSO network.
If not I am willing to dig up on the subject of development. I have implemented LDAP in our PHP application here. Syncing users and groups with a mysql table. I don't think it would take much to make a PHP script that could be run on a cron on the ISPConfig server. And setup an interface for the script. The only down side I can see with this solution is that you would need to change users password from the ISPConfig panel. Unless I could find an alternate way to send authentication request to a different script. In which case the users would be able to change their passwords from any location/apps/os.
If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great. Otherwise I will simply implement a sync between our existing PHP application and the ISPConfig table. So the PHP application takes over the task. But I rather share with the community.
