    When i create a new shell user it always puts the word default before the name i give it. Is there a way to just use the name I tell it to use for a shell user?

    I give user name chuck it creates defaultchuck for example. Initially it used chuckchuck because i had a user already named chuck, but now I can't create any user name without it putting the prefix "default" on it.

    Thanks in advance.

    System: Ubuntu 14.04
    ISPConfig 3.0.5.4p4

    Easy solution, overlooked:

    In ISPConfig go to
    System -> Interface Config

    Then select the prefix of your choice. :)
