I'm trying to find the best way to have my control panel on a seperate domain of it's own. Would the solution be using mod_rewrite? Or just a simple re-direct? I would like to have https://www.mycontrolpanel.com as opposed to clients accessing https://server1.myserver.com:8080/index.php Any idea on the best solution for this? Also has to be 'updatable' meaning when i update then control panel doesnt revert back to the original address.
