Afternoon all, Quick question: the Migration toolkit page says "All passwords and account names are kept during migration but you can reserve usernames for clients, FTP accounts etc". Question: Does this include Mysql / Mariadb / email users , as the database and email passwords seem to be different between source and target ? As an example wordpress sites can no longer connect to the migrated database and email passwords no longer work. Just for reference: Source: OS: Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS PHP: 7.4.3-4 Mariadb: server version: 10.5.22 Postfix: 3.4.13 Cpanel: Plesk Obsidian Version 18.0.55 Update #2 Target: OS: Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS PHP 7.4.33 Mariadb Version: 10.3.38 Postfix: 3.4.13 Cpanel: ISPConfig 3.2.11p1 The only errors in the migration log (when doing a full migration relate to): a) Your server does not support crypt mode "MCRYPT_RIJNDAEL_128". Please update php mcrypt library! b) Table 'psa.domainaliases' doesn't exist. Any thoughts much appreciated. Justin
Yes. But if you migrate from a different control panel like Plesk, then passwords might have to be decoded and then re-encoded to the formats that ISPConfig uses and according to the error message you got about MCRYPT_RIJNDAEL_128 support is not available, the decoding likely failed for that reason. You might want to contact the migration tool support to see if there is a solution for that. The email is migsupport at ispconfig dot org.
