Dear community, i recently tried to setup a ISPConfig multiserver setup, where every server should be able, to serve any service except the vServer tools. The setup contained 6 servers, where server 1 was the main server, 2+3 the mirror of it. and 4-6 are the same, but 4 is only a 2nd server. the question, i am asking myself now, is, is it possible, to sync e.g. the dns records over all servers, because of namesrver provision, but let the rest of the setup exist, how it is. I could have setup 3 zones, one on server 1 and one on server 4, but then i will get different zoneids, and this is not what i wanted. And syncing all of it with rsync e.g. is also not that funny, i hope there is an other way! Thanks for your help! Regards engeliii23
The mirror feature in ispconfig will mirror all config data of all services of the primary server from one server to another server, so you can't use that to mirror DNS to all servers while other services don't get mirrored.
