Do the ISPConfig database and /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/lib/config.inc.php still exist? What's the output of Code: ls -la /tmp/ ?
Thx Falko, I already solved it with recreating /root/ispconfig and running the installer again. Also I had to recreate the ssl certificates before apache was running again What's the drawback of not undoing the getline changed: http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-server-ubuntu-10.04-lucid-lynx-ispconfig-2-p7 22 I did undo it after the former update but forgot about it Thx again
There should be no drawback. It might just be that the compilation of another binary that requires the original fails when you did not change it back.
