I wanted to know if I could create usernames in Postfix using ISPConfig that are 2 characters long. It looks like we are limited to between 4-32 characters. I ask because I have some users from a domain that have an e-mail address with less than 4 characters that are trying to migrate to a postfix/ispconfig environment. Any ideas? Suggestions?
Yes, that's right. You can create a user in ISPConfig and then create an email alias with less than 4 characters for that user.
Perfect. That works great. One more question: I want to create a mail server for knifecenter.com domain. However, the name of the server I just setup is mail.knifecenter.com. How do I setup the mail server so that not only does mail.knifecenter.com get routed to this server, but ALL knifecenter.com mail goes to this server?
