Ispconfig Scalability. Multiserver Enviroment Design And Deployment. Please help!

First of all congratulations for all your work and support. You guys are incredible!!

This is our situation:

We are a non-profit org in barcelona in spain. We are developing a hosting enviroment to be able to give free hosting services to other organtizations in our country. We have tested several control panel software. Yours is incredible. We have a couple questions:

We currently have 10 double-processor (year 2001) poweredge servers, two 1TB storage servers, two (year 2001) single processor poweredge servers.

We don´t know how to start the server organitzation and distribution.

Can you recomend a design for a scalable installation of ISPConfig with these servers?

Our main concerns are (web site scalability, storage scalability, and database scalability)

We have been thinking of installing ISPConfig with Open MOSIX. What do you think?

We would really apreciate any help or coments abouts this issues. Has a thread allready been written about this?

If you want to use ISPConfig, you cannot put the services on different servers, e.g. like one server for email, the other for web, the third one for MySQL, etc.
This will be available in ISPConfig v3, but not in the current release.
Right now, you have to put all the services on one server.

When will ispconfig 3.0 be released?.
So if we install ispconfig in every server, do we need a public Ip for each server?
Or is there a way to configure a gateway for all ispconfig servers?
Can you then manage all the servers from one acount, or u have to log in to one server at a time?
Can we use NFS to map web and mail folders to other storage servers in the network?
Do you have a howto file about how to set up a multiserver ispconfig enviroment?

It's still in the very early stages, so don't expect anything in the next few months.

You could set them up in a local network behind a router, but because you can forward one port only to one machine from the router (e.g. port 80), you can access only one server from the outside on that port. So public IPs would be good.

You have to log in on each server.
However, we're working on the "Remoting Plugin" which allows you to remotely access ISPConfig from third-party applications. So you could write your own application, and with this application you cou then manage all your ISPConfig servers.
