I am running suse 10.1, am a noob to linux, especially text only. I am learning.

I followed the setup, and can complete the install with no errors.

When I am done it instructs me to go to

I do this and am able to change my password. I changed it......

I go on to the next step to install my forums, before I install the forum I try to log in again to ispconfig.

It won't work. I did this twice today with the same result.

    Reboot doesnt help.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Did you get any error messages? After you reboot did ispconfig start?
Did you set ispconfig to start automatically on boot?

Try starting it manually using this command:
    Code:
    /etc/init.d/ispconfig_server restart

    Thanks!!! :D

That was definitly a problem, though I don't know why it would turn off after a few minutes on its own before a system restart. All is good but it has only been about ten minutes. Hopefully it will continue to work.

How do I configure this to restart on boot?

Thanks for you help, it has been a rough couple of days learning text only linux and I was almost about to really start "kicking my linux box around". Its only a p3 450....... makes for a quick install ;)
