If you disable the virus scanner, does it work?

Hi can someone give me a bit of help with this. I have followed the instructions ( hopefully without mistake).

The we interface is working and I can see emails coming in. However the emails dont seem to be passing on and in my message queue the incoming messages are mirrored 10 or 11 times.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

    Rich

    Hey,

Have you setup your transport settings correctly. Use the test tool to make sure your SpamSnake can connect to your MTA.

Did you add all of those X-Antiabuse headers?

Follow page 3, Setup Instructions for Baruwa and you'll should see what I'm talking about regarding testing the mailflow.

Did you correctly setup your Baruwa*.pm files(/opt/MailScanner/lib/MailScanner/CustomFunctions)? Please make sure that the database connection section in the 3 Baruwa files correctly matches your system.

Do you by chance have Apache installed as well?

Right I have the messages routing now. My main server was rejecting them and that was causing it to loop and double up in the messages screen.

I still cannot add or remove to the lists and the database setting appear to be correct.

No i dont have apache on there

Ok great, mail is flowing and you don't have apache.

What version of Baruwa did you use 1012sn or 1024sn?

If you used 1012sn, please follow the upgrade section on page 3.

Make sure to clear out browser cookies before testing.

Be sure to edit /etc/MailScanner/CustomFunctions/Baruwa*.pm and /usr/share/pyshared/baruwa/settings.py to make sure the database section is using the correct information.
