Yes, but how do i do that? Id did not make a new account! Just made a new server and did a migration.
Seems like the certbot makes its possible to have more accounts, seems logic as time gives updates ect.

Maybe a tip in how to delete accounts without messing up al existing ssl certs?

    dear till,

i have the same issue on another server. but here i have done the same.

but if a do certbot-auto, i got this:
    Please choose an account
    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
    1: SERVER.domain.COM@2018-09-09T15:26:07Z (5b5d)
    2: SERVER.domain.COM@2018-04-29T22:20:07Z (e73f)
    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Select the appropriate number [1-2] then [enter] (press 'c' to cancel): 2

if i do manually 2 and leave it running, all certificates are there.

only the option 2 is working. how i can remove the 1 option? i think so that i must remove first the 1, or?

    thank you so much

I would remove it by deleting its directory in /etc/letsencrypt/accounts/acme-v01.api.letsencrypt.org/directory/ and /etc/letsencrypt/accounts/acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.org/directory/ folders. I would keep the older one, as you suggested, or look at the renewal config files in /etc/letsencrypt/renewal/ to see which account they use.
