Wanting to learn how to spin Linux machines for testing and learning. What are some good ways, and tools to get started with this?
take your pick..... WSL, Hyper-v, virtualbox, docker, vmware workstation, vagrant etc on windows hosts. parallels, vmware fusions, vagrant, docker etc on mac hosts, virtualbox, vmware workstation, vagrant, docker, lxc, etc on linux hosts citrix xenserver, vmare vcentre etc directly on hardware. to just learn and get used to linux, probably best to just start with creating a bootable image on a usb stick and use that.
