I have NO idea why an email is being generated to admispconfig@localhost, or why that should be directed to [email protected].

    Can anyone help please?

    Thanks in advance

Please add localhost.co.uk at the end of /etc/postfix/local-host-names and restart Postfix.

The mails for admispconfig@localhost contain the message size of each incoming message; they are used to generate ISPConfig traffic statistics.
Please don't redirect or block these emails!

is the address [email protected] set in the ISPConfig control panel somewhere, if it is I might have changed it.... so I should change it back right ??????

No, it's not set in the control panel; admispconfig@localhost is hard-coded, and Median's server expands it to [email protected] - nothing unusual here. :)

    Thanks Falko

Thats fixed the loop, but the 2 accounts on that domain are now very slow to respond when downloading email using Outlook.

Have restarted server so we'll see what happens.

Thanks again - appreciate the help

    Hi Falko

Nothing worth noting in the mail log but it sorted itself out after a few hours.

    Thanks again
