network problem Hi again, Can you tell me, should ISPConfig "Server Config" look the same as my Static IP specifications in my router, all external specifications or is it somehow different? Apparently /usr/local/ispconfig/server/server.sh can't talk to outside world. Here is a root mail message: Code: From [email protected] Fri May 31 19:01:40 2013 X-Original-To: [email protected] X-Virus-Scanned: Debian amavisd-new at ns01.delcowebhosting.com From: [email protected] (Cron Daemon) To: [email protected] Subject: Cron <root@ns01> /usr/local/ispconfig/server/server.sh > /dev/null >> /var/log/ispconfig/cron.log Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 X-Cron-Env: <SHELL=/bin/sh> X-Cron-Env: <HOME=/root> X-Cron-Env: <PATH=/usr/bin:/bin> X-Cron-Env: <LOGNAME=root> Date: Fri, 31 May 2013 19:01:22 -0400 (EDT) W: Failed to fetch http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/dists/squeeze/Release.gpg Could not resolve 'ftp.us.debian.org' W: Failed to fetch http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/dists/squeeze/main/i18n/Translation-en.bz2 Could not resolve 'ftp.us.debian.org' W: Failed to fetch http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/dists/squeeze/main/i18n/Translation-en_US.bz2 Could not resolve 'ftp.us.debian.org' W: Failed to fetch http://security.debian.org/dists/squeeze/updates/Release.gpg Could not resolve 'security.debian.org' W: Failed to fetch http://security.debian.org/dists/squeeze/updates/main/i18n/Translation-en.bz2 Could not resolve 'security.debian.org' W: Failed to fetch http://security.debian.org/dists/squeeze/updates/main/i18n/Translation-en_US.bz2 Could not resolve 'security.debian.org' W: Failed to fetch http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/dists/squeeze-updates/Release.gpg Could not resolve 'ftp.us.debian.org' W: Failed to fetch http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/dists/squeeze-updates/main/i18n/Translation-en.bz2 Could not resolve 'ftp.us.debian.org' W: Failed to fetch http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/dists/squeeze-updates/main/i18n/Translation-en_US.bz2 Could not resolve 'ftp.us.debian.org' W: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead. Thanks once again for your help.
problem solved Problem solved by editing /etc/resolve.conf with new ISP info! Network is communicating and mail is coming in and out.
