    Hello,

I have a few sites running on a virtual server with Fedora Core 2 - I'm getting rid of Plesk, and am considering ISPconfig.

Can I migrate, or do I need to delete the existing sites and re-set them up in ISPconfig?

If I install ISPconfig, will it overwrite existing config files, and change permissions for existing sites?

    The latter.

It depends. In your case I'd suggest that you set up ISPConfig on a test box to see how it works, and then you can decide how to proceed.

    just a question

Why do you want to stop with plesk? (just curious)

I am asking because a friend of mine wants to start also
I advised 42go or ispconfig but he ordered a license for plesk.

Only thing I miss in ispconfig is multi server and redundancy is this possible in plesk?

    greetings
