Hello, My ISPConfig server has been running fine, but recently websites have disappeared and only one site remains, without me deleting any clients as far as I am aware. Sometimes when I log in, I only see one client. Sometimes when logging in, all clients and websites are back again, and I can open those websites. Sometimes they show SSL warnings, and sometimes they do not. At times, SSH access also behaves strangely. I am prompted for a password, but the password is not accepted. If I temporarily change the server IP address, attempt to connect, and then change it back to the original IP address, SSH access starts working again. I also occasionally experience issues accessing the ISPConfig GUI. My password is rejected, and then after some time it is accepted again without any changes. ISPConfig is running inside a Proxmox VM. From the description, it does not look like an issue in ISPconfig. Check your DNS settings for the domain/hostname to access the server. You can do that e.g. at intodns. Might be that you either have two DNS records pointing to different IP addresses, or your primary and secondary DNS are split, so that one of the secondary servers did not gets updates from the primary anymore. This way, you intermittently end up on different systems.
Thanks for the tip, fixed it, two VM s, both running ISPconfig3 cross talking was the problem. A great product!
