I thought that was the port it was already set to in an ISPC setup, (googling ispc forum stuff). Is the default 587? I tried that as well but receive another error: I'm not sure what to do with "Operation now in progress" and Google's not helping. I tried setting up a local mail client to test connecting to that email address but it's failing as well(also with no useful errors): Thunderbird server:adolf.schwimserver3.com user:[email protected] port:587 security:STARTTLS I'm not sure what I'm missing here. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
You don't have to put one set alert in the header and one in the service. One in the header is sufficed for the whole services. Only use in a service if you need to monitor via email one particular service only. Your error is regarding your email service which you might not have properly setup. As I said you can set to use relay via ISPConfig system settings if your mail service is not working. I don't use the following but you can try to gather other solutions in this link: https://serverfault.com/a/761848
