Dear All, I would like to add a new node to my existing, productive ispconfig single server node with apache webserver. I want to test how is fast nginx, but I don't want to change the webserver on the productive node. Is it possible to add an another webserver node with different webengine? Thanks in advance, Tibor
Yes, thats no problem. 1) Add a mysql root user on your current server which is able to connect from IP and hostname of the new server and ensure that mysql is accessible from IP of the new server. 2) Install the new server with nginx by using the matching perfect server guide, during ispconfig install choose expert mode and there choose to join the first server.
