I have attempted to add a user to the admin account as well as a client account, however the database user isn't being created in the mysql users table. I used the latest ispconfig installer and updated the installation so all the files would be overwritten and it's still not adding the user. Do you have any suggestions as to what may be causing this? I checked the /usr/local/ispconfig/server/lib/mysql_clientdb.conf file and it does have the correct root user, hostname and password in the con file.
Database users are created when there is a database. Users without a database they are assigned to are not created.
