Ah, ok, you use a different controlpanel. This thread was originally about ispconfig 2 and not 3. To be able to help you with your problem, you have to post the domain name. Otherwise I can not query your dns server.

I fixed my problem by commenting out this: Code: # allow-query { localhost; }; so lame, but sorry, how would I know trying to configure linux dns first time in my life hope this helps other beginners like me. PS: maybe let ISPconfig do that change or add a check mark since it's being installed mostly on public servers anyway.
