Hello, I've been using ISPConfig for sometime. I'm trimming down my services a bit and was wondering about the installation process. Google Apps will handle email and I will only allow FTP over SSH. I do want to install Postfix for outgoing mail from PHP. I am going to start with a fresh Ubuntu 14.04 install. Can I follow the perfect server Ubuntu 14.04 tutorial and leave out the software I don't want installed? When Postfix is configured I am pretty sure I'm suppose to select satellite system. When I install ISPConfig do I have to pick expert install or basic? Thanks
yes. But you should then install ispconfig in expert mode and choose in the installer to configure only the services that you really have installed.
