Hello, when I have site example.com and somebody put to URL xyz.example.com or antyhing else it shows content of completly another site even though this subdomain is not created nor DNS. Is this a bug, or is there a way to fix this issue?
This is not a bug, it#s a misconfiguration in your DNS records. This subdomain exists in DNS if you get a website in our browser instead of a domain not found error. Check your dns records again, you either created that subdomain or you created a wildcard dns record. Remove the subdomain or the wildcard dns record. Besides that, the webserver must show the first vhosts that it finds on the same IP address in case no more specific vhosts exists if you added a DNS record for this subdomain that points to your system, search the forum for 'default vhost' to get instructions how to create a specific website for that purpose.
