How many VMs do you have running at the same time? More than four? Do you use some proprietary drivers?
hi falko, well its not a loop problem, i have only 2 VMs running anyway. however, I still can not figure out why there is the problem. i guess there is some mismatch between the kernel and the driver version. i was doing a bit of searching and found these ready to boot images on: http://jailtime.org/download:start and they seem to run perfect! so i guess as of now i have a vm running perfectly. however, am still curious to find out the reason for the error. would be educating. regards, hardeep
I guess it has something to do with some proprietary driver. You know, kernel developers don't like proprietary drivers.
