    Hello.

I've been trying off and on for a week now to turn safe mode OFF on my server installation. I tried many things to turn it off.

I did a test (php_info()) command. and it yielded the following in relation to safe mode.

    ITEM LOCAL MASTER
    safe_mode On Off
    safe_mode_exec_dir no value no value
    safe_mode_gid Off Off
    safe_mode_include_dir no value no value

First I dont know exactly what Local means in this instance. I've looked at 2 php.ini files one etc/php.ini and one in the /ispconfig/php.

Both files say that PHP MODE is OFF.

    So the question is
    1. For the server (ISPCONFIG) what files (specific location) control PHP SAFE MODE (IE php.ini)?
    2. For the server (ISPCONFIG) what files (specific location) control apache server (IE httpd.conf)?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.:)

Well offcourse you may post if you like but make sure to search for the issue first the answers are there for the taking.....
