hi guys i've configure server with ubuntu perfect setup 5.10 hoary and now im very frightened about this messages in my server... Jul 8 04:09:14 server1 postfix/smtp[12543]: connect to mx00.schlund.de[212.227.15.169]: server refused to talk to me: 421 mails from x.x.x.x refused: Dynamic IP Addresses See: http://www.sorbs.net/lookup.shtml?x.x.x.x (port 25) what the hell is this and 421 mails???????????????im not sending anything i've read about in sorbs and it means that im listed on a list DUHL (dynamic ip list). what does it mean ... that the mails from my server will be rejected ? im starting with hosting and i have a few clients (3 exactly). does anybody knows anything about that? please help me... thks in advanced
If this is a dynamic IP, the emails does not have to be send by you. Yes, one some serveers. Do you host your server on a DSL line?
On a DSL line you ususally have a dynamic IP address. That's the reason why you're blacklisted. You can relay your mails through your ISP's mail server: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=72&highlight=relayhost
