POP3/IMAP configuration verification HOW TO

    Hi folks,

    I am following the "The Perfect Setup - SUSE 9.3 " tutorial to set up machine in order to use webhosting services ( By using ISPConfig) .

    In Page 5 (under Postfix With SMTP-AUTH And TLS) , It is mentioned how to verify the postfix configuration .( telnet localhost 25)

    Then i installed the "Courier-IMAP/Courier-POP3" . How can i verify the POP3/IMAP servers are successfully configured ( verify the pop3/IMap servers are running successfully by using any telnet command or ...) ?

    Just complete the setup, install ISPConfig and create a client + website and an email user. Then you can try to send and receive email to this user.
