Hi, I have a Debian Web Server (See Perfect Debian Server). in Postfix I use my provider as relay host. I Made some test. I can send my mail using ports 25, ports 25 with authentication and 587 with authentication. I have chosen port 587. But if I send mail to my google account, Google says that mail isn't encrypted from my provider. Why? I have also a dynamic ip and then I use a dinamic dns service. Maybe postfix doesn't use the right port or the authentication? If I use gmail as relay host all works but the messages have the header of my google account.
    Help me please

Ask your provider. If you relay a mail using the provider's server, you can not alter the way, they send mails.

Thanks for reply. There is a thing I don't understand. If I use my gmail account and add in it the smtp of my provider (port 25 with TLS) it seems that all emails are encrypted. Doesn't Postfix work in the same way?
