Postfix / News ISP

    I got a new ISP but then my Postfix dosent get any mails. i can send but not recive... Any idea what the problem is ?

    What's in your mail log? Are the DNS records of your domain correct?

    This is the only strange thing mail.log says.
    May 26 01:09:00 localhost dccproc[1731]: socket(UDP): Address family not supported by protocol

    Yes every dns is correkt, i have checked them

    hmm, i tried to send a mail from a mail that is on the same server and it delivired the mail as it shuld but trugh localhost...

    When i tried for like 2-3 days ago i got this back from the mail addy i sent the mail from:

    This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

    THIS IS A WARNING MESSAGE ONLY.

    YOU DO NOT NEED TO RESEND YOUR MESSAGE.

    Delivery to the following recipients has been delayed.

    And i got this today about the mail i tried to send yesterday:

    This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

    Unable to deliver message to the following recipients, due to being unable to
    connect successfully to the destination mail server.

    BTW, you shouldn't use CNAME records for MX records. Try to change that.

    Yes the mail server works now. the problem was that the domain holder is stupid :p. Thanx for your help Falko
