Hello everybody, I need your help please, is there any way to add prestashop 1.6 package to ispconfig instead of 1.4 package ? Thank you very much.
Just create a website, download the desired PrestaShop version into the web folder of this website (or upload it with ftp), then access the website with a browser and follow the PrestaShop web installer.
Thank you very much for your answer, the problem that i must change the rights of this folder to 777 to complete the installation, and i'm afraid that i will have a security problem, but with the 1.4 package in prestashop i dont have this kind of problems. B.R
No, rights are never changed to 777. Most likely you uplodaed the code as root and missed to change the owner (user and group) to the web user and client group of the website.
