Please delete this post Hi I am trying to install ispconfig3 from this tutorial https://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-...l-php-pureftpd-postfix-dovecot-and-ispconfig3 As far as I could tell all was ok until I tried to install round cube by "Now we will install the roundcube on browser at http://192.168.1.100/roundcubemail/installer" Since I had not done any backups of the vm I decided to start again and test often. After point 14 I can still access the phpmyadmin page with http://192.168.0.100/phpmyadmin/ and log in with the user name root and your new root MySQL password. After point 15 I get the error "Can not establish connection with server" in firefox and "connection closed by remote server" in Opera Any help would be appreciated Dave
I am sorry I did not get back sooner. I noticed that the log dates were wrong. So I decided to reinstall because I also noticed there were some updates to mariadb. Then I had to replace the motherboard and psu. This time it all worked. The only other thing I did differently was to install xfce desktop and firefox so I could cut and paste. Sorry for wasting your time Dave p.s. please mark thread as closed or better still delete it
