Hi, we run into a problem when using the autoresponder with a mailbox that has dkim and dmarc set: opendkim fail to sign the mail, probabily because the `from` address is not set, and the mail goes into Junk. How can we fix this problem? Is it a problem that can be solved by editing the autoresponder template? (redacted sensible information, [email protected], [email protected]) This is the log inside the server hosting the mailbox with the autoresponder set: Code: Apr 14 10:48:44 server1 postfix/pickup[31944]: 9684BA7A6E9: uid=5000 from=<> Apr 14 10:48:44 server1 postfix/cleanup[32043]: 9684BA7A6E9: message-id=<dovecot-sieve-1234567890-12345-0@server1> Apr 14 10:48:44 server1 postfix/qmgr[11864]: 9684BA7A6E9: from=<>, size=1707, nrcpt=1 (queue active) Apr 14 10:48:44 server1 postfix/smtp[1273]: 9684BA7A6E9: to=<[email protected]>, relay=127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]:10024, delay=0.33, delays=0/0/0/0.32, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (250 2.0.0 from MTA(smtp:[127.0.0.1]:10025): 250 2.0.0 Ok: queued as E2AAAA7A6E6) Apr 14 10:48:44 server1 postfix/qmgr[11864]: 9684BA7A6E9: removed Apr 14 10:48:44 server1 postfix/smtpd[30827]: E2AAAA7A6E6: client=localhost[127.0.0.1] Apr 14 10:48:44 server1 postfix/cleanup[1922]: E2AAAA7A6E6: message-id=<dovecot-sieve-1234567890-12345-0@server1> Apr 14 10:48:44 server1 postfix/qmgr[11864]: E2AAAA7A6E6: from=<>, size=2176, nrcpt=1 (queue active) Apr 14 10:48:44 server1 amavis[30995]: (30995-11) Passed CLEAN {RelayedOpenRelay}, [127.0.0.1] <> -> <[email protected]>, Message-ID: <dovecot-sieve-1234567890-12345-0@server1>, mail_id: ID, Hits: 0.073, size: 1706, queued_as: E2AAAA7A6E6, 324 ms Apr 14 10:48:44 server1 postfix/smtp[1913]: E2AAAA7A6E6: to=<[email protected]>, relay=relay[IP]:25, delay=0.18, delays=0.12/0/0.05/0.01, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (250 2.0.0 Ok: queued as F21173FDF9) Apr 14 10:48:45 server1 postfix/qmgr[11864]: E2AAAA7A6E6: removed This is the log inside our mail relay: Code: Apr 14 10:48:44 relay postfix/smtpd[3187]: F21173FDF9: client=server1[IP], sasl_method=DIGEST-MD5, sasl_username=name@relay Apr 14 10:48:44 relay postfix/cleanup[3296]: F21173FDF9: message-id=<dovecot-sieve-1234567890-12345-0@server1> Apr 14 10:48:44 relay opendkim[2126]: F21173FDF9: no signing table match for '[email protected]' Apr 14 10:48:44 relay opendkim[2126]: F21173FDF9: no signature data Apr 14 10:48:44 relay postfix/qmgr[758]: F21173FDF9: from=<>, size=2427, nrcpt=1 (queue active) Apr 14 10:48:45 relay postfix/smtp[3217]: F21173FDF9: to=<[email protected]>, relay=gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com[2a00:1450:400c:c06::1a]:25, delay=0.44, delays=0.01/0/0.1/0.33, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (250 2.0.0 OK DMARC:Quarantine 1234567890 redacted - gsmtp) Apr 14 10:48:45 relay postfix/qmgr[758]: F21173FDF9: removed
I've never used opendkim; ISPConfig systems normally use rspamd or amavis for dkim signing. Try setting sieve_vacation_send_from_recipient = yes (see https://doc.dovecot.org/settings/pi...le_setting-sieve_vacation_send_from_recipient).
