I just setup a server i.e. Apache 16.04 + Nginx + ISPConfig3.1 based on 15.10 setup tutorial. I faced a problem with my phpMyAdmin (http://server1.example.tld:8080/phpMyAdmin) where upon log in I am being redirected to ISPConfig panel (http://server1.example.tld:8080/index.php). But when I return back to it via back button, I found that I am successfully logged in to it. All website are working fine. I am just posting out of curiousity of what could be the problem and how to solve it as I am thinking to uninstall and reinstall ISPConfig. Any opinion(s)?
Found the culprit. I disabled fastcgi_param PATH_INFO $fastcgi_script_name; for it in ispconfig.vhost and login is now proper i.e. directly to phpmyadmin, not to ISPConfig panel. I am not sure why though but may be other with knowledge can share its reasoning.
I just noticed the new tutorial. For Ubuntu 16.04 perfect server with nginx, please use https://www.howtoforge.com/tutorial/perfect-server-ubuntu-with-nginx-and-ispconfig-3/ tutorial.
