This is my post to the proxmox forum but I got no help. Maybe someone here can help. Hi, I'm new to proxmox. I'm a newbie. I like proxmox so far I'm just having some problems setting up my first server. Pleas excuse my newbie english. I have my first server up and running(debian 8) with internet. I just have one MAJOR problem. I have Ispconfig 3 (http://www.ispconfig.org/ ) installed ( https://www.howtoforge.com/tutorial/perfect-server-debian-8-jessie-apache-bind-dovecot-ispconfig-3/ ) . How do I open all the ports needed to access the vm/container from the outside world (ex. ssh,ftp,panel)? Ports like 21,22,80,443,5080,8080.
I only use proxmox 3 and I didn't have to open anything. I think you might have the network settings wrong on your host machine.
ok I'll look into it.I deleted the vm and installed ispconfig 3 on a container.It's working.I had to add the gateway on the container. I'll try again with a vm.
Does anyone know how to setup proxmox 4.1 to offer vps hosting beginning to end? I'm new to proxmox 4.1 and I'm trying to find out how to setup my first vps with ispconfig 3. I have a container with ispconfig 3 installed but I don't know how to open it up to the outside world. I have only one public ip and one nic. Please help.
