    Hi,

Has the base_dir behaviour changed recently in ispconfig 3 updates?

Previously when creating shell users, the first users homedir would become
    "/var/www/clients/clientX/webX"

    now it becomes "/var/www/clients/clientX/webX/home/username"

    Is this the normal behaviour?

Previously user would just be able to do cd ~/web/ to get to web folder, now they got to do cd ../../web

Yes, the behaviour has changed as the previous setup caused problems with shell editors and other software that have to write their settings in the home directory of the user and multiple shell users shared the same home directory which caused problems as well. The new behaviour was already used for jailed shell users, so we just canged the behaviour of the non-jailed users to match the one of jailed users to make the system more consistant.
