Dear users, without no notification my VPS provider decided to suspend my VPS for high CPU usage and the only access they provide me is the FTP. So basically I need to restore everything from FTP... no SHH unfortunatelly. I read this guide but I can't backup my database through ssh... http://www.pcs-computing.com/support/ispconfig_backp-restore.html Is there a way to restore everything from FTP only, including Databases? (because they asked me to reinstall the whole VPS, and the hardware is exactly the same, what if I download all the files from the VPS and I upload them again in the server once the VPS is installed again?) Thank you very much for your support Best
Yes. You can backup the databases by copying the whole /var/lib/mysql folder. Just as a note: The guide you linked above is incomplete, you will not get a working ispconfig system when you use it. There are several threads here in the forum about migrating ispconfig to a new server were I outlined the nescessary steps.
