Roundcube webmail user password

    I installed RoundcubeWebmail as an add-on for ispconfig.

    I went into phpMyadmin and looked into isp_isp_user table

    The user_passwort fields are blank....is the webmail users password store here or other place?

    The webmail user passwords are stored in /etc/shadow

    May I know how are they encrypted?

    In case I need to gain access into other users email

    They are encrypted with crypt, this is the default way in linux and not specific to ISPConfig.

    Thanks for the reply.

    What will you do if a user forgets a password, and request to you to reset his passwd?

    You can set a new password in ISPConfig.
