Hi, every multi server setup that I found is in the same network. Is it possible to install a second dns in a different datacenter? Can I follow the tutorials are should I use some special one. Also the multiserver tutorial uses LAN ip adresses. Can ispconfig run behind a firewall or should all server be connected to the internet and require an external IP.
Yes it is possible to run install ispconfig in a different datacenter. Just follow the multiserver guide. It will work We have our servers behind a firewall but also all our servers have public IPs.
Is the replica safe between datacenters? Also when you run a firewall in front why the multiple external adresses?
