    Hi Falko

I have found something that I wanted to run by you...

    Code:
    root@giganetwireless:/home/mailman# apt-get install mysql-server
    Reading package lists... Done
    Building dependency tree... Done
The following extra packages will be installed:
      mysql-server-5.0
    Recommended packages:
      mailx
The following NEW packages will be installed:
      mysql-server mysql-server-5.0
0 upgraded, 2 newly installed, 0 to remove and 1 not upgraded.
Need to get 38.9kB/21.4MB of archives.
After unpacking 48.4MB of additional disk space will be used.
Do you want to continue [Y/n]?

Should I go ahead and reinstall mysql-server?

    My present MySQL version is:
    Code:
    mysql Ver 14.12 Distrib 5.0.22, for pc-linux-gnu (i486) using readline 5.1

    Thanks you Falko
    Best Regards

Assuming that it can't get worse, I think you should try it. ;)
