Hello, I am looking for a self hosted secure file sharing solution. I did look into NextCloud and I do like the plugin KeeWeb plugin - to open KeePass files... but it's not what I am looking for. What I would like to do is to upload a file, encrypt it and next share the link with someone by e-mail. I will provide a password via eg phone or a text message. Does anyone have a suggestion?
Why is FTp not suitable? Or web server with password protected directory? Have you examined ownCloud, Syncthing, FileCloud?
I found this: https://filesender.org/ https://github.com/filesender https://docs.filesender.org/filesender/v2.0/install/ I will check this out and hope to find more.
I am looking for a web based solution which is user friendly. I did find FileSender and it looks promising.
I used elfinder as we discussed it in here: https://www.howtoforge.com/community/threads/ultimate-file-manager-for-ispconfig.81110/#post-384515 But I now that I see the FileSender you shared, may be I'll try it later on.
30uke did you install fliesender? I could not find the encrypt file it was highlighted but when l click on it in the docs it was not found? (encryption_key_version_new_files) xstation
