Hi, my ISPConfig installation actually works very well, but I have a serious issue: My browser session seems to have a timeout of approx. 30 seconds. This is very annoying because I need to be finished with each configuration within 30 seconds, otherwise ISPC no longer reacts. What can I do to keep the session alive? OS: Debian 8.3.0-6 ISPC: 3.2.7p1 Thanks in advance. Rafael
I cant find a timeout setting in the ISPC Config (/usr/local/ispconfig/interface/lib/config.inc.php). But there is a timeout setting in the Apache config (/etc/apache2/apache2.conf): Timeout 300 That is not the setting I was talking of as it's set to 300.
Look it up in ISPConfig Manual. Search for string "session timeout". Like @Jesse Norell wrote in #2, it is in ISPConfig Panel, System | Interface | Main Config | Misc.
I tried another file: [link removed] "Session Timeout" cant be found in the whole document. There is nothing about a timeout on page 292: I would really appreciate to have a short solution. Thank you Rafael
@rfnx: You are using an illegal copy of the manual and also post links to illegal copies of our manual here in the forum, really?
Your ISPconfig 3.1 manual is different from mine. On my manual copy the page you show is number 282. I do not know why manuals are different. My manual says on front page : In your strange copy of the manual, session timeout is explained on page 303. The Real ISPConfig manual is available for purchace from https://www.ispconfig.org/documentation/user-manual/ for the reasonable price of 5 (five) euro.
illegal copy? sorry I dont remember where I was loading it but I do not refuse to buy it! I already ordered,.. Shame on me did not know that it was not legal
Btw the Session timeout did not occur during my last installation. I think it was a browser incompatibilty error but cant remember as its to long ago and I had to do with Telegram the last months ... Thread can be closed. Thanks for your support
