Hello I have done pretty wel using ISPConfig. All works well, with only minor hiccups Lately, I have been bombarded with spam coming form my mail server. I know thats there is a way to use spam assasin(I think?) for this. I used the perfect install as prescribed on the ispconfig and I recall spam assasin being installed. Now how to turn it on and configure it. Can anyone point me to how this can be done? Thanks Joseph
Hello, I found out where I can set a spam setting There are a few settings: Non-paying Uncensored Wants all spam Wants viruses Normal Trigger happy Permissive This seems to be a local setting that I use for each email that is set up. Is there a global setting to cover a domain, or basically all emails on the server? Thanks! Joseph
No, that's a policy (grouped spamfilter settings). You can select these policys eijter in the mailbox or in the domain. see mailbox and domain settings in the mail module.
Thanks Till, Worked like a charm. I was abel to set the spam filter for all emails on a given domain. My question is the emails are now all marked spam. Is there a way to remove them, in to, we'll say, a spam folder? Like google does, for example? Like I have a inbox, and deleted folder, etc... for each email. I noticed that there is a quarantine option. But, it seems to be a quarantine where spam goes from all emails, and they seem to be lumped together. Thanks Joe
