Thank you, thank you thank you a milion times.. Changed the Nameservers back, added the exact same records and its working.. Absolute stars in this forum... I'll defenitely be coming back here, Ill try mark this solved for anyone in the future with the same problems..!!
Ok So The webmail is working for sending and receiving, but on thunderbird I cant find the servers when using pop3.domain.tld and smtp.domain.tld Also if i type pop3.domain.tld in the browser address it still takes me to the landing page. not sre, if this something to do with the subdomain setting or if the A record should be removed?
Managed to get it working using the ip address and not domain. Will have to try sort that out. But thank you
Just a footnote: the A record for pop3.xxx.de is needed, otherwise it wouldn't resolve and noone could reach the mx And it's totally normal, that the browser shows the default site. If you don't want this, create a vhost for this subdomain and forward it to another domain
