Hey everyone, one of my users has a rather strange phenomena. He wants to activate SSL on his website. But he can't. There is the box for SSL, but he can't tick it, no matter which browser he uses. The Box can not be ticked, as if it was locked or something. Does anyone else have this problem? Upgrading to ISPConfig 3.0.5.4 didn't help, so I think something might be wrong with the config. Kind Regards ZeroEnna
Yes, I did. I even dis- and re-enabled SSL for this client. When I disable SSL, the tick box disappers. When I enable it, the tick box is there, but you just can't tick it.
But you, as admin user, are able to tick the box? Or is it locked for you as well? And if it works for you as admin, when you use the "login as user" function to become the client user, is it for you locked then as well?
To make it short: "Yes" to all of your questions: Me, the Admin can enable SSL. When I use "login as user XYZ", I can not use this function anymore.
Did you create the website as admin or did you create the website as client (e.g. by using the login as function)? If a site gets added by the admin, then the site is locked to prevent modifications by the client. In this case, the client can see the site but he can not modify it.
yes, that's exactly what happened. Is there a workaround without recreating the website? Any hacks in the database, maybe?
Thank you so much, till. It's working. Maybe a feature request for 3.1? "Allow client to override certain settings" with tick boxed for each value?
