By now I have reinstalled the whole server :-(
    Is there no other solution?

I think the best thing to do is do a clean install, to prevent other possible issues in the future. You can migrate with the migration tool, to make it easy.

Ofcourse you can decide to keep this install and try fix the current issue, but I think it's better to do a clean install.

    Thanks for your help
I don't know how to solve the problem if not reinstalling everything.

I believe that at this point I will choose an external mail server

Use this tutorial only if the server uses certbot and not acme.sh

How can I see what the server is using?

Do you have a folder /root/.acme.sh/ ? If yes, then the server sues acme.sh.

    Thank you for your answer

The server does not have the specified folder.
I assume therefore that I cannot use the guide specified above

It's the opposite, if you don't have that folder but have a folder /etc/letsencrypt/, then you can use that guide.

The ovh panel which installs debian + ispconfig automatically allows you to specify a custom hostname.
To get ssl to work properly can I act from here instead of installing debian 10 + ispconfig autoinstaller?

In case what value should I set?

If your domain is example.com, you could set something like server1.example.com

But if you are doing a reinstall, why not do it with the autoinstaller?

    Hello,

I installed ISPConfig on Ubuntu 20 and I configured SSL for port 8080 and also LetsEncrypt for the domain through the panel but after 3 months the certificate expired and I got the invalid certificate information on the website, I created a new certificate with your guidance and it started to work again. Do you want to know if there is any way to carry out the automatic renewal or will it be necessary to carry out this process every 3 months, after the expiration date?

It should be renewed automatically. Might be a fluke. Check in 60-62 days if the renewal has been done OK.
