I just bought a "trusted authority" SSL for my new default domain, have unchecked the SSL tab on my old default domain and installed the certificate on my new domain. Unfortunatly, when I browse to the new site, I still see the old certificate. Currently I only have one public IP, but I only need a certificate for one site. Any ideas? -J
Please make sure that you selcet "Save" as action after you neterd the new certificate in the certificate field of the website.
I have selected save in the dropdown and then used the save button to apply. I also un-checked SSL on the site which previously had the un-trusted SSL. Still when I browse to the site for which I purchased a "trusted" SSL certificate, I get the old certificate from the old site.
Please have a look in the ssl folder of the new site, is the ssl certificate in the .crt file your new certificate?
It turns out that I needed to apply the cert to the ISPConfig server too (I should have known that) and I found the following post helpful: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21615&highlight=ispconfig+ssl -J
