Found it, I have to give access from the db servers to the controlpanel: GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON phpmyadmin.* TO 'pma'@'10.0.0.4' IDENTIFIED BY 'mypassword' WITH GRANT OPTION; FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
