I have debian installed on some workstations and I would like to have the vmware view client program to start as soon as the machine boots up, so that it shows the login screen for view.

the idea is t ohave users login to just vmware view, and not have to know or login to the local linux machine.

im thinking i would need to have the system autologin and then start /usr/bin/vmware-view instead of gdm or kdm

any thoughts on how to do this ????

    Thanks guys (and gals)
