hello, i am a newbie. i am attempting to configure quotas on suse 9.2 pro. but when i do help from super user prompt i do not see #quota i have ext 3 mounted and not reiserfs. do i have to install an additional package? if so where? thank you, brian
thank you falko for your response. the version on perfect setup is 9.3 so i changed the ftp destination to 9.2 to reflect my version: ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/ap...os/apt-libs-0.5.15cnc7-0.suse092.rb0.i586.rpm and then i entered: ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/ap...er-rbos/apt-0.5.15cnc7-0.suse092.rb0.i586.rpm and it took. then following the perfect setup i installed some software and deactivated SUSE's firewall. however i could not install some packages..and when i run apt-get install quota i get an error: linux:/ # apt-get install quota Reading Package Lists... Done Building Dependency Tree... Done E: Couldn't find package quota linux:/ # could it be at the ftp site not having quota for 9.2?
Hello, still get the error: linux:/ # apt-get install quota Reading Package Lists... Done Building Dependency Tree... Done E: Couldn't find package quota linux:/ # could it be at the ftp site not having quota for 9.2?
